Charlie found his life-long loving family from us many years ago. He’s an incredibly smart and funny Standard Poodle with tons of character. Over the years of visiting our grooming salons in Riverside, California, Charlie has gotten to be very popular with our staff and clients. He would stay at our boarding facility routinely.
His owners would often go out of town to horse shows in Texas and to Denver on business, so Charlie would visit us regularly.
THE STORY
Owners, Don & Jacki purchased the Rockvale Canine Country Club property in 2018 and had been planning to make the move since. This meant selling Riverside Grooming pet salons and their ranch/boarding facility. Essentially, to relocate to Rockvale.
Well, shortly before RG was sold, Charlie’s owners informed Don that they were going to be moving to Tennessee. Nobody really knew that Don and Jacki were going to relocate, so it was interesting to learn that Charlie was going to move to Brentwood at the same time we were making our move. Charlie and Don had bonded over the years and it was thrilling to know Charlie would be able to come and have his grooming on a regular basis again!
It soon was revealed to his owners that we were also moving to the area. This was very exciting, as Brentwood is only about a 30-minute drive to RCCC.
Charlie’s family arrived in November 2019, and Don transported all of the kennels in December. Don and Charlie were reunited for a short period of time. The final move was in January.
After getting the business license for RCCC, we have lots of opportunities to see Charlie. Just like old times, this time in beautiful Middle Tennessee 🙂
